i'm planning a little holiday in london for 2 people... does anyone know about low cost (and safe) accomodation? any good hostel or B&B you have already experienced? any tip will be welcome!!
I can help you with areas to stay in London, but it slightly depends on where exactly you want to visit. If you're doing the tourist route (Tower Bridge, Houses of Parliament etc.) then the Victoria area's lovely. There's St.James' Park, a new shopping centre and you're extremely close to Buckingham Palace, The Mall Galleries and the barracks (where you can see the changing of the guard) and you're also close to Trafalgar Square (home of the National Gallery, Nelson's Column and theatres in the West End) and thus the Houses of Parliament, London Eye etc. If you want to experience a lovely and much less tourist-trodden area of London (aforementioned area of London still easily accessible, but it doesn't smell of smog etc.) then Clapham is a very good bet. There's Northcote Road which is great, a lovely park and a generally wonderful atmosphere. Hope that helps! If you need to know anything else, don't hesitate to ask (but I don't know any hostel or B&B names, I'm afraid.)
